Today's battle would find the American forces away from the river and inside 'Hue city.'

This battlefield is littered with bunkers, trenches, structures, and other obstacles making for excellent urban warfare. Snipers dug in and assault troops made their way forward into the opposition. The cannons came alive once again and ariels began to explode overhead.

Outnumbered and on the run, the Vietcong were nonetheless putting up a brutal defense to slow the attackers.

In the final, climactic battle the people's forces made a defiant stand at the bridge. Placing their armor directly in front of the advancing army, the vietcong dug in around the bridge and braced themselves for the onslaught.

Thick clouds of white from an American smokescreen preceeded the assault. The special forces hit the VC with everything they had wiping out their armor in the process.

Cries from wounded rose up amidst the explosions and battlecries from frenzied warriors. Hurdling the trenches and dying soldiers, the US teams stormed across the bridge deep into the enemy lines.
