This mission will challenge the Rangers of the 75th Infantry to establish a base in hostile territory. Their convoy must reach it's destination and secure the perimeter to be successful.

It will be no easy task, as the valley is lousy with vietcong, booby-traps, and rumors of NVA armor!

The Rangers will utilize their array of weaponry including the .50 cal heavy machinegun and 2.5 ton transport vehicle. In addition, their specialists include demo experts and heavy weapons operators to dispatch the enemy.

Everyone is loaded up and the convoy heads out upon it's mission!

The fighting is fierce as the vietcong ambush the Americans almost immediately! The roar of cannons fills the air and deafening ariel bursts exploding just overhead!

Sappers come out of nowhere and mines saturate the roads inflicting mass casualties on the special forces. Engineers begin the tough job of sweeping the road under constant fire from the enemy ahead.

The convoy presses onward and begins to make ground. Fire missions are brought to bear on the enemy positions as they fall back amidst the screams of their dying comrades.

The artillery is brought forward again only to be smashed by enemy armor. The NVA tank had been hiding all along and rushed forward wiping out both crews.

Despite heavy losses on both sides, the battle raged on. The convoy proceeded to gain ground but gave up many brave soldiers in the process.

Eventually, the Rangers would indeed establigh their base, but only after sustaining massive casualties.
