By nightfall, most of the players have checked in as the attendance soars to over 80 players. Campfires begin to appear and eventually the smells of outdoor cooking tantalize the hungry troops.
The 'Crusty Whore' is also open for business and doing well.
This 'GI' watering hole is of the local sort and complete with a full bar, poker table, and lots of troops only too happy to take part in the festivities.
After plenty of good food and drink, everyone gathers round the campfire for the orientation.
Dave goes through the introductions as everyone cheers on their comrades. Players have come 
from as far as out of state to attend and are already having a great time! The safety briefing follows and then a quick overview of the morning's objectives.
Finally, the Army commanders and their officers take the stage to rally their troops. Their speeches inspire lots of cheering and some taunting at each other's threats of impending doom.
