Operation: EuroWars 2

The Eurowars 2!

Hey Dave,

I wanted to thank you for organizing and putting on EW2 this year. This was actually my first time up at Sequoia and I am hooked now. I realize the regular games aren't as elaborate, but I'm still going to make it to as many as possible. I had so much fun last weekend it's not funny. Thank you again...oh and I guess the next big one is the NAM? well hopefully I can get up there for a few "normal" weekends before the NAM. I'll see you up there!

Soldiers,

I'd just like to say what a great time I had at Euro Wars 2, thanks to Dave for putting on such a great game.

Thanks to the guys from GamePod for bringing down the carts.

Thanks to all you players who showed up, you fought well and really made the game.

My most memorable moment of the day:

Squad 3 and I were working our way past hill 187 to assault the Europa base. We encountered resistance near a foxhole from both sides, so we all dove in. I never realized you could fit so many people in such a small place. With guns sticking out in all directions we managed to hold off the enemy in front of us and kill off or surrender the enemy behind us. We sent one squad member back to HQ with the 2 POWs we captured. Just then we heard the buggy start up the road near us. Not being able to break radio silence because of our proximity to the enemy base we hunkered down in the foxhole. Suddenly the buggy gunner caught sight of us in the foxhole and maneuvered for a better look. Squad 3 leader handed me his grenade launcher so I could take out the buggy. As the buggy came to the edge of the foxhole and yelled SURRENDER, he was looking down the barrel of a grenade launcher. In seconds that followed we found out that he was a Nato buggy! Thanks guys!

It was a really great game, I hope to see you all next year!

Nato Commander,
Josh
